Description: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. A nutritious lunch is provided along with morning and afternoon snacks. Extended hours are available from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Hours and the number of days attending the Center may vary depending upon you or your loved one's needs. Half-day schedules are also available to accommodate both morning and afternoon schedules. We can customize the program for you and your loved one.
Activities in the Adult Day Center are designed to encourage socialization with peers and participation in a wide variety of activities.
Transportation services through the Care-A-Van program are available for District residents. The Adult Day Center Director can assist you with transportation details during your initial assessment.

Description: Adult Day Services programs offer a safe, positive, caring alternative to nursing home care for those who do not need 24-hour skilled nursing. These programs are designed to help people stay mentally and physically active, reduce isolation, improve their health, and prevent decline of their abilities.
People typically attend a center in their community three to five times a week, based on their individual need. All programs either provide or can assist with transportation arrangements.
Our services include therapeutic activities such as art, singing, age-appropriate games, health monitoring, social work, meals, dietary counseling, physical, occupational and group therapy. We also serve breakfast and lunch daily, with a variety of offerings.
Our program focus on a diverse population including different cultural or ethnic backgrounds or younger adults with head injuries or developmental disabilities. Families also receive help with information and referral to other services, as needed.

CAREGIVERS' clients are a vulnerable segment of the population. They are older than 60 and have chronic aging problems that are causing decreased mobility and loss of control over their lives. Most live alone and are in financial need. They cannot afford to pay for help.
However, with a relatively small amount of assistance (just 2 to 4 hours) per week, our frail, elderly clients can continue to live at home with dignity and independence. The help and companionship of a CAREGIVERS' volunteer increases their confidence and self esteem and significantly improves their quality of life.

Description: VCAAA is able to provide transportation tickets to seniors (60+) and people with
disabilities FREE OF COST. ElderHelp Transportation program provides Dial-A-Ride Tickets (i.e. paratransit) and/or Fixed Route Bus Tickets for non-emergency medical appointments, shopping, visiting family, etc. Limited, free transportation to medical appointments for low income and frail seniors, and/or disabled adults unable to use the bus (for example clients requiring gurney transportation). Description: Jodi House Brain Injury Support Center of Santa Barbara is one of seven sites statewide to receive State of California funding from the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) for serving adults with traumatic brain injury (TBI). This funding allows Jodi House to further provide its core services, including:
Supported Living Services Ð provide a variety of training, support and supervision to maximize independence where the participant is living.
Community Reintegration Services Ð maximize independent functioning with the goal of living in the community and participating in community life by increasing participant access to housing, medical care, transportation, education, recovery programs, and personal assistance.
Vocational Supportive Services Ð include prevocational and educational services to individuals who are unserved or underserved by existing vocational rehabilitation services.
Information and Referral Ð includes services providing information on TBI to individuals, family members, caregiver, service providers and other stakeholders. This includes referrals to TBI service or other community resources.
Public and Professional Education Ð designed to facilitate early identification of persons with brain injury, prompt referral of these persons to appropriate services, and improvement of the system of services available to them.

For private pay, Oxnard Family Circle ADHC starts at $79.00 per day, providing many unique senior care services that are not available in in-home care. This low cost includes transportation, meals, therapy services, personal assistance services, and meetings with social workers, nurses, and podiatrists. Transportation: We have twelve handicap-accessible vans complete with wheelchair-accessible lifts. Our vans provide transportation to and from the center for multiple routes serving the entire Ventura County area. Our program hours run typically from 8-2pm with accommodations to those times as needed Monday through Friday. We are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and Fourth of July if they fall on a week day.

Description: Ventura County Adult Day Health Care is a community-based program providing a variety of medical, therapeutic, rehabilitative and recreational programs and services for adults 18 years and older. We provide a safe and secure environment for adults to spend time under the caring supervision of experienced staff. Our hours of operation are 8:30-2:00, although if a participant is getting picked up/dropped off by a family member they can get dropped off as early as 7:30 and picked up as late as 3:00. Service Areas: Camarillo, El Rio, Fillmore, Newbury Park, Oxnard, Point Mugu, Port Hueneme, Santa Paula, Saticoy, Somis, Ventura The ADHC service area extends from the Pacific Ocean on the west, north to Highway 33, south to Newbury Park and east to the Ventura County line. Transportation: We provide transportation to and from the center utilizing our own fleet of vans in coordination with other public transportation services (e.g., SouthCoast Area Transit (SCAT)). CBAS ADHC services are available at no cost to eligible Medi-Cal Managed Care Members of Gold Coast Managed Care and Kaiser Permanente.
